I bought this vacuum about two years ago for daily use doing light cleaning on the first floor of my townhouse (kitchen, dining room, living room).
Its greatest strength is its maneuverability -- it's incredibly easy to handle and to maneuver. Its suction is fair to good -- it will pick up crumbs and dust off of bare floors, and will get some surface dirt off of carpets but bigger pieces are a challenge for it. The detachable hand-vac works fine. I also really like how easy it is to empty the dirt cups and clean the filters. In other words, it does what it's designed to do just fine.
Its real Achilles' heel, though, is battery life. When new, it had barely enough power to vacuum the small (less than 500 feet) first floor of my townhouse, which had mostly bare floors. As it aged, its battery life deteriorated significantly -- after less than a year, even after charging it fully, it could only achieve roughly half the power it had when new. Its useful run time also dropped to well below five minutes -- barely enough to vacuum my small kitchen and underneath the dining room table.
I decided to relegate this one to my bedroom, where it would be used less frequently and would need to vacuum an even smaller square footage.
I replaced it with the Electrolux Pronto 2-in-1 -- BIG MISTAKE! While they look very similar, the performance of the Pronto is significantly inferior in every way but battery power. I ended up throwing the Pronto out simply because it was useless.
If Electrolux addresses the battery issue, then I would recommend the Ergorapido EL1005A. As is, though, its useful life is less than a year.
